The continuous search for innovation

To best realize your projects

For us making knitwear products is a constant search for technical perfection; a skill acquired and improved over two centuries. It is long story that combines tradition and technology, from 1967 till today.

End of 60's
Maglificio Da-Ni was founded thanks to the talent and creativity of Mrs. Gemma Zanzani. Her proposal, for a market attentive to quality and details, is characterized by knitwear collections made with precious yarns and meticulously cared finishing touches. The first brand produced by the company based in Savignano sul Rubicone is Da-Ni Tricot, a project that stems from a deep knowledge of knitwear and the personal taste of Mrs. Gemma Zanzani.

The first partnerships for the production of knitwear by great designers (Fiorucci, Rena Kraft and many others) date back to this decade and continue more recently with new collaborations with young emerging designers: Sophia Kokosaiaki, Olivier Theyskens, Angelo Figus.

Thanks to the very positive feedback from national market, the company chooses to participate in the first major Italian fairs such as Pitti Donna and Modit Milano, which allow for an important opening on international markets. These are years of great success on the Japanese market and in South-east Asia in general. A brand, Gemma Zanzani , is born. It is characterized by the combination of knitwear and fabric that will then result in a “total look collection project” designed to meet the needs of foreign markets.
